Jim started his career as a  financial advisor in Charlottesville, VA becoming the majority partner of Taylor Grant Wealth Management at what is now Truist Bank. 

Jim and his wife Amanda invested in property near Whiteface Mountain in 2010, commissioning a custom home completed in 2014.  Beyond residential properties, Jim engages in diverse commercial endeavors leveraging his financial background and personal ownership of commercial property.

Jim's commitment extends beyond business, actively participating in BETA and contributing personally to the construction of local bike and ski trails.  As an avid mountain biker and skier, Jim embodies a genuine dedication to community development and the Adirondack lifestyle.
